Betula, the Latin genus name for birch, was designed to reflect the deep appreciation for New Hampshire’s natural beauty that we share with Molly Harper. Molly’s work is influenced by time spent exploring the spaces around us, much like how we craft our beer at Schilling. The German inspired Landbier is a style that through local ingredient selection speaks to that same sense of place. In working with Molly we prioritized a local and environmentally sound ingredient selection with malt from the hydro powered Valley Malt in Holyoke MA and hops from Champlain Valley Hops in Vermont.
